Serotonin Surge's annual fundraiser for safety net medical care in the greater Sacramento region will be held at Cafeteria 15L in downtown Sacramento on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Guests will be treated to tasty food, the region’s finest wines, and the good company of fellow guests who believe that all members of our communities deserve access to essential medical services. To date, we have raised over $5 million for a network of twenty clinics that combine to provide one million patient care visits per year to the most vulnerable members of our communities, as well as a scholarships for medical students from UC Davis and California Northstate University who volunteer to staff those clinics. The event program will include a celebration of our 2025 Safety Net Heroes, Dr. Susan Murin and Dr. Thomas Atkins, two individuals who have played substantial roles in strengthening our region’s safety net services.
