The Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society's Museum of Medical History is proud to present Dr. Faith Fitzgerald who will lecture on Movies and Medicine. This lecture touches upon the influence movies and TV have had on the expectations and ambitions of doctors and patients in America from the time of early films on to the present. Relevant film clips are a part of the show.
Dr. Fitzgerald is an Internist and Professor of Medicine and Assistant Dean of Humanities and Bioethics at the University of California Davis.
